Sold: Dynamic Foods 220,000-SF facility in Lubbock

LUBBOCK – A San Antonio company has finalized a deal to acquire Furr’s Fresh Buffet and Dynamic Foods out of bankruptcy.

Food Management Partners now owns 25 Furr’s restaurants across five states as well as the Dynamic Foods production and distribution facility in Lubbock.

The Lubbock facility employs 200 workers and with more than 220,000 sf of space — including 130,000 sf for food processing and 50,000 sf of frozen storage.

In time, all of the management functions for Furr’s will be absorbed into Food Management Partners’ corporate office in San Antonio.

Day-to-day management of Dynamic Foods will remain in Lubbock. That facility prepares and distributes multiples lines of fresh and frozen products for contract food service and grocery stores, as well as restaurants and retail establishments.
