Bonham tank car parts to 44,000-SF Kelso building

BONHAM, FANNIN COUNTY – Kelso Technologies is a manufacturing company that makes equipment for railroad tank cars. The manufacturing plant has now opened its new job-creating addition to its facility.

A new 40,000-sf facility will accommodate 60 jobs at 1526 Texas Ave.

The cost of construction was estimated at $2.4 million. Kelso also left room on the west side of the building to eventually add 70,000 sf and 100 more jobs.

“This building will be mostly for assembly of the products. And we will be doing a lot of welding on the products too to fabricate them,” said CEO Neil Gambow said.

Kelso Technologies is a manufacturing company that makes equipment for railroad tank cars. The company formed in the 1980s in Canada, and is currently headquartered in Illinois.
