Retail industry grows by 90,000 SF in Palmhurst
PALMHURST, HIDALGO COUNTY – Turner Busby Development has broken ground on its 90,000-sf development, Palmhurst Village Center, adjacent to the new H-E-B property on Mile 3 Rd. and Conway Ave.
The center will be built at a cost of more than $20 million and divided into three separate pad sites.
A number of stores have committed to spots in the center, including: Ross, Rue 21, CATO, Shoe Show, AT&T wireless, WB Liquors and Aqua Dental.
The project is currently underway with completion scheduled for October 2014. Ross and the main tenants would move in during the first quarter 2015. The McDonalds, which is a stand alone restaurant, is expected to completed by August.
The new shopping center follows the opening of a Walmart Supercenter and an HEB Mercado.
