DALLAS-FORT WORTH - State Farm has doubled its North Texas employment base to 5,000 in the past year and expects to hire 8,000 more when its regional hub opens up in Richardson.

The Bloomington, Illinois-based insurance company’s employees will span 2 million sf in four office towers at the $1.5 billion CityLine development.

State Farm has held numerous job fairs to recruit DFW employees.

State Farm plans to begin moving its employees into the new CityLine regional campus in early 2015.
