Vistas at Red Creek now open in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO – Tenants have begun moving in to San Angelo’s new resort-style apartment complex — Vistas at Red Creek — at 5751 Green Hill Rd., behind Suddenlink Communications on West Houston Harte Expressway.

The property offers one-, two- and three bedroom units are 701 sf, 1,002 sf and 1,228 sf. 

When completed in September 2015, the complex will consist of 176 units in 11 buildings.

Hill Country inspired apartments have walk-in closets, a washer and dryer, and granite countertops, according to the website.

A January 2014 permits and inspections report on the City of San Angelo website listed the project’s value at $9.6 million.

Vistas at Red Creek is owned by The MacDonald Companies in Kerrville, which has housing communities in Boerne, Comfort, Floresville, Fort Worth, Fredericksburg, Kerrville, Keller, Midland, Victoria and Weatherford, according to The MacDonald Companies’ website.

The firm also owns River Place Apartments, a senior living community in San Angelo.
