Walton purchases Fort Worth land for 1,100-home community

FORT WORTH – Walton Group of Cos. has purchased 268 acres recently opened by the Chisholm Trail Pkwy. to develop a 1,100-home master-planned community which will include commercial real estate.

In June, Walton Group purchased 1,775 acres in Fort Worth from the Texas General Land Office in Tarrant County for a development project off Chisholm Trail Pkwy.

The two land purchases are in close proximity and will be sharing development resources.

Walton is working with Crowley ISD on a planned elementary school site for the first phase of the community’s development.

Home lots for the community are expected to begin delivering by the end of 2015.
