Woodway: 14,200-SF Premier ER Plus opens in August

WOODWAY – Premier ER Plus, a full-service emergency facility, is scheduled to open in August. The 14,228-sf facility is going up at 9110 Jordan Lane on a 1.8-acre site.

The ten-room ER will be staffed 24 hours a day by certified emergency room doctors and nurses. The facility will have CT, ultrasound, X-ray, sophisticated laboratory services and ambulance bays.

Premier ER Plus will be able to tend to heart attacks, strokes, pneumonia and broken arms, just like the other emergency facilities. The facility intends to have a good working relationship with Providence and Hillcrest, and will transfer patients to each under certain circumstances.

The center’s website says it is both an emergency and urgent care facility. It adds that they will accept most commercial and private insurance, but is not yet able to take Medicare, Medicaid or Tricare insurance.
