Encore Wire growing McKinney operations with $30M investment

MCKINNEY – Encore Wire Corp. will spend more than $30 million to expand its McKinney plant to a 450,000-sf facility.

Along with more than doubling its size, Encore plans to hire 125 people through the expansion.

Encore has been in business since 1989, has grown from 12 to almost 1,200 workers. 

The plant expansion is scheduled for completion by the end of 2015.
