New Jersey tech firm calls 1,200 to new Allen HQ

ALLEN – CVE Technology Group Inc. has moved its headquarters to Allen where it plans to employ 1,200 people in a 196,000-sf building at Enterprise Business Park.

The New Jersey tech firm currently has about 300 workers occupying 40 percent of the building at 915 Enterprise Blvd. The building is being used by the tech firm as offices and a service center.

CVE plans to have 600 workers in the facility by the end of this year and 1,200 by the end of 2015.

CVE, an after-market service provider for cellular handsets and consumer electronics, moved from Riverdale, N.J., to the DFW region because it "is the epicenter of cell phone growth and activity," according to CVE Vice President Ruben Alvarado.
