DALLAS - Two companies relocating from Southern California to downtown Dallas will rent at least 300,000 sf in the KPMG Centre skyscraper. The two companies are bringing 1,450 jobs to downtown Dallas.

They will also receive almost $14 million in incentives from the city and state.

Active Network LLC signed a 200,000-sf, ten-year lease in the office tower at 717 N. Harwood St., according to filings with the City of Dallas. The San Diego-based software company plans to start moving 1,000 jobs into the 34-story high-rise starting in September.

A related company, fleet management services firm Omnitracs, is renting 100,000 sf in the KPMG Centre where it will locate its world headquarters and 450 workers — also moving from San Diego.

Investment firm Vista Equity Partners, which has offices in San Francisco and Austin, owns both companies.
