SELMA, BEXAR COUNTY - The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs approved a housing tax credit for the $18.7 million Liberty Pass project — a 104-unit housing complex that will be constructed on an eight-acre site near the intersection of Lookout Rd. and Jordan Rd.

The project will provide affordable housing and job training facilities for veterans and wounded veterans looking to transition into the workforce.

The Liberty Pass development will have apartment style homes with one to four bedrooms.

Developer Anthem Builders plans to start construction on the complex in spring 2015, with completion scheduled for January 2016.
