BROWNSVILLE-HARLINGEN – In second quarter 2014, the total retail market contained nearly 13.1 million sf with a vacancy rate of 7.4 percent, according to Burbach & Associates and CoStar Group.

The average rental rate per sf was $12.63, with Greater Harlingen coming in at $11.30 per sf.
