SAN ANTONIO – Construction on TopGolf, a multimillion dollar sports and golf entertainment complex, is on pace to have the Northwest Side venue open by early 2015.

The 65,000-sf, three-level driving range, which will include bars, 230 high-definition televisions, and other entertainment, is expected to open by late January.

The estimated $15 million complex will be modeled after a Houston location and will hire about 450 personnel, including about 100 full-time positions.

The company said they expect to serve 400,000 visitors in its first year and to generate $264.5 million in economic output over ten years.

The $15 million venue, across from Six Flags Fiesta Texas and The Shops at La Cantera, was finalized in January and will be the first in San Antonio and the seventh Texas location.
