Longview: Walmart opens 41,000-SF Neighborhood Market

LONGVIEW – Walmart Stores Inc. continues its march across East Texas with the opening of its Walmart Neighborhood Market at 3812 Gilmer Rd.

Walmart Neighborhood Markets are typically about 41,000 sf — about one-fifth the size of a Supercenter — and much like a traditional grocery store.

The Longview store will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and be staffed by up to 95 full- and part-time employees.

In addition to groceries — with fresh produce, a bakery, full-service deli and prepared meal options — the store will offer health and beauty aids, pet products and cleaning supplies. It also includes a pharmacy.
