Toyota + two vendors = 100 jobs in South San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – Automotive suppliers Forma Automotive LLC and ASI will establish operations at Toyota’s on-site supplier park in South San Antonio.

These two companies will supply components to Toyota’s truck assembly plant, where local workers build the Japanese automaker’s Tundra and Tacoma trucks for the North American market.

Forma Automotive employees will assemble Tacoma truck beds inside the Toyota plant. ASI is building a greenfield facility at the supplier park that will supply exhaust systems for the truck plant.

Each company will hire about 50 employees by June 2015.
