SAN ANTONIO – Delta Air Lines will begin offering twice-daily nonstop service from San Antonio to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), starting April 2015.

With the addition of Los Angeles, Delta will serve six destinations from San Antonio International Airport, including Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, New York and Salt Lake City.

The nonstop service also will give San Antonio passengers the ability to connect on Delta’s trans-Pacific flights from LAX.

Earlier this summer, American Airlines also announced that it would be expanding nonstop service between San Antonio and Los Angeles starting October 2014.
