SAN ANTONIO – Morgan’s Wonderland—a first-of-its-kind, fully accessible theme park—is embarking on a $6 million expansion.

Additions will include a new 4D cinema with a virtual roller coaster experience; a boat ride around the park’s eight-acre lake; a four-seat zipline called "Rocket’s Sky Flight Adventure"; and Jette’s Magic Bikes, wheelchair-accessible, hang-glider-style cars that riders control to go up and down.

Additionally, food outlets and other facilities will be upgraded.

To facilitate construction, Morgan’s Wonderland will close for four months following its Halloween celebration.
