Villas Student Housing building another West Campus complex

​AUSTIN – A new student housing project has broken ground at West 24th and Rio Grande streets, former site of Cain & Abel’s. It will be the eighth installation of Villas Student Housing in the West Campus area.

The 30-story, 340,000-sf building includes two levels of below-grade parking, three levels of above-grade parking, and 25 levels of apartments. It also has an indoor/outdoor fitness center, pool, spa, and basketball court.

Rhode Partners architecture firm was hired to do the design.

The project is anticipated to be completed in summer of 2025.​
