SAN ANTONIO – Urban Genesis is preparing for groundbreaking on three parcels, planning to deliver two apartment buildings and a townhome project.

The firm recently took out a construction loan at Jefferson Bank for an undisclosed amount.

The company purchased land between West Grayson St. and East Locust St., a lot at 1610 North St. Mary’s St., and the lot that spans 819 to 827 East Elmira St.

The total unit count for the three projects—Sojo Highline, Elmire Highline, and St. Mary’s Highline—is 172.

With financing now secure, all three projects can be expected in 18 months.

The townhome building, Sojo, will not operate under the Highline brand, though a replacement name has not materialized yet.

Forty-eight townhome units from 1,300 sf and 124 one-bedroom units starting at 600 sf will be available.

HEDK Architects is the designer on all three projects. The developer will oversee construction.
