LUBBOCK - Texas Tech has broken its student enrollment record for the sixth year in a row with a fall 2014 enrollment of 35,134, an increase of 2,023 from fall 2013.
Graduate enrollment has increased 8.3 percent, said Tech President M. Duane Nellis, and the continued growth of graduate enrollment will be important to the university in the future.
In addition to increased enrollment numbers, Tech has seen an increase in diversity. As of fall 2013, Tech’s Hispanic enrollment was at 19 percent, which is up to 22 percent in fall 2014.
