GEORGETOWN – Texas grocery giant H-E-B has opened its new store in the Wolf Lakes Village neighborhood.
The 121,000-sf store at 1010 W. University Ave. replaces a 67,000-sf store at 1100 S. I-35.
The San Antonio-based chain has had a presence in Georgetown since 1966, when it opened its first store at 600 W. University. That 21,000-sf store operated until 1989.
H-E-B currently operates two local stores.
