110-acre beachside development with private airport slated for Bolivar

​​​BOLIVAR PENINSUA – Bolivar Investment Group has begun land development at 1520 SH 87 for a 110-acre beach resort.

Called The Peninsula, the resort will have 90 single-family beach homes on 15 acres, 117 rental cottages with a clubhouse and two pools, 50 RV sites with overhead cabins, five condo towers totaling 160 units on the beach, a restaurant and spa, three-level beachside bar and grill, retail development with 1,400 feet of frontage along SH 87, and a private small-engine airport just across the road at buildout.

Phase one is expected to break ground next month, and phase two will break ground at the end of the year. Completion is slated for next February.​
