AUSTIN – Travis County Commissioners have approved a $35 million contract with nonprofit Mobile Loaves & Fishes for the development of housing for people experiencing homelessness.

Burleson Village will have 640 housing units. Half will be microhomes under 400 sf and half will be RV units.

The housing complex will also offer mental and physical health services, addiction services, Family Eldercare, and restorative justice.

Site preparation will take two years with the first residences moving in by mid-2025.
