DALLAS – Saigebrook Development has broken ground on Kiva East, a $25 million, 87-unit mixed-income multifamily complex.

The community will reserve 70 percent of its units for those making between 30 and 60 percent of the area median income.

It will have a tuition-free early childhood education center from the Bezos Academy.

Opening is slated for December 2023.

The project will be financed by $3.4 million from the Dallas Housing Opportunity Fund and $2.48 million in financing from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s HOME Investment Partnerships Fund.
