LUBBOCK – The city council has allocated $1.5 million of American Rescue Plan Act funds to construct a state-of-the-art pickleball complex in McAllister Park.
Plans include eight to ten outdoor courts as well as bathrooms, court lighting, and parking.
Lubbock Plays Pickleball will raise money to construct an indoor portion to the complex, bringing the total number of courts to at least 16.
