​​​MESQUITE – The city council has approved the development of Valley Brooke, a 51-acre, 235-home single-family subdivison. 

The master-planned community will occupy two tracts on Mesquite Valley Rd.

Developer Taylor Duncan Interests ​Valleybrooke will dedicate 15 acres for public parks and private open spaces linked to B.J. Smith Elementary and Berry Middle School.

Plans also include a 21-acre regional park with nature trails, dog park, playground, splash pad, and picnic pavilion.

The two builders for Valley Brooke will be M/I Homes and Impression Homes.
