El Paso 178,700 SF of medical buildings sold for $46 million

El PASO – Physicians Realty Trust has purchased the El Paso Specialty Hospital building and two medical office buildings, totaling 178,700 sf, for $46.2 million from El Paso Orthopedic Surgery Group.

The El Paso Specialty Hospital is located at 755 Curie in Central El Paso, and the clinic buildings are situated at 3100 Lee Treviño on the East Side and 9999 Kenworthy in Northeast El Paso.

Physicians Realty is leasing the facilities back to the orthopedic group, which continues to operate at the locations.

This is the trust’s latest acquisition in El Paso, which is a market it likes, said John Sweet, CEO.
