Work starts on Georgetown active adult community

GEORGETOWN – Sparrow Partners and Welltower Inc. have broken ground on Amberlin Georgetown, a 188-unit 55+ active adult community.
The community will be on seven acres at 5105 N. Mays St. It will have one- and two-bedroom floor plans ranging from 615 to 1,285 sf. Rents will be around $1,500 to $2,500 a month.
Amenities include bocce and pickleball courts, a resort-style pool and sundeck, fenced-in dog park, fitness center, game lounge, media lounge, community garden, library, and coffee bar.
The first move-ins are set for summer 2022.
Sparrow Living will manage the community.
