Condo-hotel in the works for midtown Houston

​HOUSTON – Australia-based Caydon is working on the latest phase of its Laneways mixed-use development in Midtown. 

Fitzroy Residences will be a ​32​-story high-rise with 191 condominium​ units and a 200-key Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants-branded hospitality feature on the lower floors.

The hotel, announced in 2019, will be the San Francisco-based hotelier’s first local project. 

Condo floor plans include:​

  • 16 studios averaging 567 sf and starting at $279,000;​​

  • 128 one-bedroom units ranging from 630 to 1,099 sf and starting at​ $285,000;

  • 86 two-bedroom units ranging from 1,107 to 2,167 sf and starting at $730,000; and 

  • four three-bedroom penthouses raging from 1,768 to 2,243 sf and starting at $1.45 million.

Residential amenities include coworking spaces, a meditation room, yoga and fitness deck, two outdoor swimming pools, fitness center, concierge services, and catering kitchen and dining facilities. 

Caydon’s in-house architecture and design team worked with Atlanta-based The Preston Partnership to design the building’s look.​

Douglas Elliman Texas is marketing the residential units. The building’s sales office is at 2850 Fannin St.,​​ Ste 200.
