Partnership starts on 90-unit senior-housing project

​WACO – Mears Development & Construction Inc. and Harris284 Team Inc. are building Residences at Lake Waco, a 90-unit affordable senior housing community. 

The property will reserve 79 units for hous​eholds earning up to 30, 50, and 60 percent of the area’s median income.

Amenities will include a business center, clubhouse, courtyard, fitness center, picnic area, and pool. 

Construction started in August 2020 and will finish in January​ 2022.

Crossroads Housing Development Corp. is the general contractor, and Brownstone Architects & Planners Inc. is the architect.
