HOUSTON – ACCIONA has acquired Diode Ventures’ 240-megawatt (MW) solar project in Fort Bend County.
Diode bought the Fort Bend Solar project from Lendlease in 2018.
When fully operational, the project will produce more than 750 MWs of solar energy. It will create about 300 jobs in the construction phase.
The asset is the buyer’s fourth renewable energy project in Texas, joining three wind farms in Cameron County.
