SAN ANTONIO – Construction is underway on a $1.4 million extension of The Greenline, a waterfront linear park in the Brooks mixed-use community.
The 1,200-ft extension will be along the south side of the park, connecting to existing walking trails along the San Antonio River at Mission Reach.
It will have a ten-ft-wide mixed-use pathway, 43-ft-long tunnel underneath the Union Pacific Railroad line, landscaping, drainage structures, and shaded congregation areas.
Completion is set for fall 2021.
