SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Historic and Design Review Commission has approved the redevelopment of a former Borden Dairy Co. plant in the city’s Tobin Hill District.
The 70,000-sf building at 875 Ashby Pl. will have 55,000 sf of office space. The rest will be retail and event space.
Developers Embrey Partners and Area Real Estate will start renovations in July 2020. Completion is set for July 2023.
Gomez Vazquez International is the architect.
The 1930s building is part of the five-acre, $100 million Borden Park mixed-use development.
