​​​​SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Historic and Design Review Commission has approved the redevelopment of a former Borden Dairy Co. plant in the city’s Tobin Hill District.​

The 70,000-sf building at 875 Ashby​​ Pl. will have 55,000 sf of office space. The rest will be retail and event space.

Developers Embrey Partners and Area Real Estate will start ​renovations in July 2020. Completion is set for July 2023.

Gomez Vazquez International is the architect.

The 1930s building is part of the five-acre, $100 million Borden Park mixed-use development.
