DALLAS – After three years of work, AT&T is close to opening its $100 million Discovery District at Commerce and Akard Streets on the south side of downtown.
The project features a revamped plaza area in front of AT&T’s headquarters, a 104-ft tall media wall, a 30-ft high digital globe sculpture, an art gallery, and 65,000 sf of retail and restaurant space.
Along with providing a better environment for AT&T’s 5,500 headquarters workers, the project aims to be a new centerpiece for downtown.
The Discovery District will open to the public in May.
