MIDLAND – The Midway Cos. is developing a hotel on Texas Ave. between N. Big Spring and N. Colorado Streets.
Midway will transform the closed Western United Life Building into a 200-room hotel with 10,000 sf of ground-floor retail and restaurant space.
The site of the demolished Building of the Southwest will be transformed into 14,000 sf of ballroom and meeting space.
Midway will also build a 400-space parking structure.
The project will create 125 jobs for the city.
