SAN ANTONIO – White Lodging is developing a nine-story boutique hotel at the site of the 19th-century German-English School in La Villita​.

The facility at 423 S. Alamo St. will feature 275 hotel rooms, a rooftop pool and bar, and two attached one-story entrance structures.

One of the school buildings will be home to a restaurant, while the second will be used as event and meeting space. 

​The space between the former school buildings will be transformed into an outdoor seating area with a bar. 

Construction will start in late 2020 and wrap up in two years.
