THE WOODLANDS – Rayford Rd. is expanding from four to six lanes between Lazy Ln. and the Grand Pkwy.

The $53 million project includes constructing a six-lane bridge over the Union Pacific Corp. railroad tracks, installing new traffic signals, and adding a raised median.

In mid-September, crews were working on completing the final drainage pipe installation, curb, and gutter between Fox Run and the Grand Pkwy.

Construction will wrap up late this year. Funding was provided by Montgomery County Precinct 3.
