Amarillo Public Library builds crafts space

​AMARILLO – The Amarillo Downtown Public Library is adding a specialized crafts area with​ sewing machines, textile construction areas, jewelry-making machines, and more. 

The library will provide instructors to help residents learn how to use the new machines.

Adminstrators hope the new addition will enable residents to generate another source of income by allowing them to explore new hobbies or business ideas.

Construction will start at the end of the year and wrap up in spring 2020.
