AUSTIN – The city is developing eight affordable homes on 1.3 acres at the corner of Doris and Hathaway Drives.
Four duplex rental units will be reserved for people making 50 percent or less of the area median income. The remaining single-family homes will be sold to people making 80 percent or less.
Units will be ready for move-in by fall 2020.
The city purchased the land from the Austin Independent School District in 2017.
