A Weir-oiled machine opens in Midland

​​​​MIDLAND – Weir Oil & Gas has opened its $30 million Midland Customer Service Center at I-20 near Loop 250.

Weir purchased 20 acres in the 73-acre David Mims Business Park over 18 months ago to build the 92,000-sf facility.

The facility houses 150 employees. 

Under an agreement with the Midland Development Corp., Weir will invest $20 million in capital improvements and $9.65 million in personal property investments. It must maintain a payroll of at least $6 million through 2022.​​
