SAN MARCOS – Mission Trail at El Camino Real, a mixed-income housing community, has broken ground at the intersection of SH 123 and Clovis Barker Rd.
The 352-unit complex will have 15 garden-style buildings across 30 acres. Units will have from one to four bedrooms.
The majority of apartments will be reserved for households earning 60 percent or less of the area median income. Ten percent of the units will be reserved for those earning less than 40 percent of the area median income. Thirty-five apartments will have no income restrictions.
The Michaels Organization is developing the project. Kelly Grossman Architects is the designer.
