Plans for St. John’s Squared away

​​​​​SAN ANTONIO – Weal Development’s proposed St. John’s Square apartment concept has been approved by the Historic and Design Review Commission.

The eight-story, 250-unit complex will wrap itself around an eight-story parking deck at the corner of E. Nueva and S. Presa Streets.

The ground floor will feature at least two restaurant and retail spaces and one-bedroom walk-up units. Units will range from studios to two-bedroom apartments, and each floor will have community spaces.

Mark Odom Studio is designing the complex.

Weal has received $3.2 million in incentives for the project. It will reserve 20 percent of the units as affordable.​
