​​​Georgetown Fire Station No. 7.​GEORGETOWN – Work has started on two fire stations that city council approved construction contracts of in February. 

Fire Station No. 6 at 6700 Williams Dr. will cost $4.6 million. It will have three firetruck bays and living accommodations for six firefighters and medics. 

Fire Station No. 7 at 2711 E. University Ave. will cost $5.3 million. It will have three truck bays and accommodate 13 firefighters and medics.

​O’Harver Contractors is the general contractor.

Construction of both stations will finish in March 2020.
