DALLAS – The coworking scene is exploding in North Texas, with the amount of space soaring 250 percent from fourth quarter 2016 to mid-2018.
That was enough for Dallas-Fort Worth to rank first for coworking growth on a 19-market survey by Colliers International.
Excluding suburban markets, the amount of coworking space in downtown and core submarkets soared to nearly 370,000 sf.
DFW’s coworking expansion dwarfs that of No. 14 Austin (30 percent increase to almost 300,000 sf in mid-2018) and No. 15 Houston (27 percent increase to just over 706,000 sf).
