Texarkana housing market climbs as Texas slows

​​​TEXARKANA – Texarkana home sales​ increased by 20.7 percent over the year to 227 single-family home sales in third quarter 2018.

Median price increased by 1.4 percent to $139,900.

Across the state, there were 95,225 home sales in 3Q 2018, a 4.4 percent year-over-year increase, according to the most recent Texas Quarterly Housing Report released by the Texas Association of Realtors.

The median price increased 4.4 percent to $235,000.​
