$64 Million bypass opening in Copperas Cove

COPPERAS COVE – The $64 million bypass of US Hwy. 190 to FM 2657 project will be complete in early January 2015.

Copperas Cove officials announced a ribbon-cutting ceremony on January 13 on the bypass, which is located southwest of Old Copperas Cove Rd.

The new highway will open to traffic later that day.

The 5.2-mile bypass will take traffic around Copperas Cove from east of the Five Hills Shopping Center to west of FM 2657.
