DALLAS – Costco is starting work on its second location in the city on Park Lane near NorthPark Center mall.
The retailer is spending almost $10 million to renovate and expand a vacant big-box store on Park Lane at Greenville Ave., building permit records show.
The more than 133,000-sf building previously housed a Sam’s Club store.
Costco opened its first Dallas store last year on Coit Rd. just south of LBJ Fwy.
The retailer currently operates a dozen locations across North Texas.
