The airline plans to launch nonstop service from DFW to Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport starting March 31, 2019.

The airline will operate up to five flights per week, using Airbus A330 aircraft.

Air France flew out of DFW for about eight months in 2001, but withdrew the service after the worldwide air travel industry took a dramatic downturn following the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Fort Worth-based American Airlines also flies to Paris, with a nonstop flight available seven days a week.
