​​Rendering of soccer stadiumAUSTIN – The city council has approved plans from Precourt Sports Ventures to build a new Major League Soccer stadium.

The 24 acres at 10414 McKalla Pl. near The Domain are owned by the city. 

The development’s estimated cost is $190 million plus a $10 million contingency. It is expected to deliver in April 2021.

About eight acres will be reserved for open green space and performance areas. It will be accessible to the public year-round during nonevent times.​
