SeaWorld Logo.SAN ANTONIO – SeaWorld Entertainment Inc. is planning two new rides and an animal attraction featuring turtles at its theme park.

SeaWorld San Antonio will add the Huss Airboat, a three-armed ride that spins riders, and Zamperla Midi Discovery, which spins and swings riders on a pendulum, according to a construction permit filed with the city. The permits say the park will also build a turtle exhibit pool.

SeaWorld estimates construction will cost $2.9 million and expects it to be completed by May 2019.

As part of a rebranding effort, the company has pledged $175 million to add new rides every year.
